1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

1968 BMW 2002 1600 Cabriolet- Extremely Rare 42.000 EUR - Asking Price

Baurspotting knows this Voll Cabriolet by Baur.  We did a post on it a while back:
http://baurspotting.blogspot.com/2012/09/bob-vs-1968-1600-voll-cabriolet.html

But here is the current ad.  Thanks to John Moriarty of Toronto BMW 2002 Owners for posting this in Facebook today.

Like new and very rare. Probably fewer than 300-400 remain today. There are likely 3-4 turbos for every Baur Voll Cabriolet (full cabriolet). Featured in the recently released book (2013) by James Taylor "The Restorer's Reference BMW 2002 1968-1976". Appears on pages 6,7,8,27,30,38,76,77,78,79,85,86,87,88 and 89. This is probably the best known BMW 1600 Baur Cabriolet available. You can show that you own the exact car in the book. The asking price is well below the cost of restoration. Concours d'Elegance ready. Come see this car or send a representative to inspect it.

Additional Info due to requests:
The restoration was done starting 10 years ago with the prior owner. The body was stripped to bare metal, all panels showing damage were replaced not repaired. The car was primed and painted to Chamonix White the original color. The original matching numbers engine was rebuilt #1557067 to 1600ti specs with BMW parts (higher compression pistons for 105HP).

The glass is Sigla with a new top and wind screen. All parts Factory BMW unless noted, new exhaust , fuel tank, carburetor (nonstock-weber 32/36), suspension, brakes, radiator and heater core replaced. New tires, complete interior, gadges, badges, trim, heating system, doors, locks and all lights except original headlights. This car looks brand new, all the interior chrome is replated triple chrome or new. The paint was done in Canada by the prior owner as was the engine. The rest by myself here in the US. I have original books and tools. The folding key is very special and extremely rare. It would take 60K euro now to restore a car to this level. It took second Place in the BMWCCA Concours in Atlanta a few years ago.

The brief history of the car is that it was delivered April 1968 to a BMW dealer near Stuggart, Germany in Chamonix. The car was later regestered in Holland. Then registered in Canada and now the US.

Price 42000 euro
