1982 BMW 323i Baur

1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

Vintage at Saratoga 2014 Part II: The 2002s!

There was a good turnout of 2002s, always a treat for lover's of this BMW icon!  Nice showing, fellas!  I apologize for not having all the names of the owners.

N.B.  It should be noted that, in addition to the '02s posted below, there were 4 other Baur Cabrio Targa owners present:  Dave T of NH, Amandio A. of MA, Peter M. of NH, and Lawrence C. of NY!  Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, they were unable to have their Baurs present in today's field.  But we do look forward to some future occasion when we will be able to see them!

I thought at first that this was just a random pic of the show..... until I looked a little closer!  :)  Jim G.'s copper Baur at right, followed by the row of '02s.  In the distance, in the center of the pic along the walkway, you can see Brian Schuch and Tom Schuch (both in black Baurspotting t-shirts, backs to the camera) having a laugh with Frank Greppo in front of his beautiful red '02.  Nice shot, Scott!  You happened to capture a nice moment on a great afternoon!  Thank you for posting it!
