1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

VIDEO UPDATE: Supercharged S14 Powered 2002 From Sweden

This is an update to a post* we did a couple of years ago when we came across a couple of 2002 dragsters.  We came across a video today of a supercharged S14-powered 2002, which turns out to be the very same Swedish one that we had posted about in the original article!

So here is the video first, followed by a bunch of build pics that we found after following a few links.    This has been a huge project to save a car that was a pretty well rusted out 'basket case'!  You have come a loooong way, baby!  ;)

You may or may not like the finished project, but one can surely appreciate the time and skill that went into making it what it has become!
UPDATE:  Pics posted today in Facebook by the owner/builder Thomas Nyman!
The 4 pics below were taken about two weeks ago, according to Thomas.   :)

Kudos to nyman88!!!

The build thread** linked below had 22 pages of text and pics.  I have included a small sampling of what you can see there.  If you have an interest, by all means, follow the link.  Tons and tons of pics!

Enjoy!
